1. Purpose Statement

Facilitates the creation, tracking, and management of customer quotations with complete visibility into transaction details, financial amounts, and approval status—streamlining sales operations and decision-making.

2. Quotations Dashboard

  • Create Quotation Button: Initiates a new quotation entry with customer, transaction, and financial details.

Quotation Table Columns:

  • Transaction Code – Unique identifier for each quotation.
  • Customer – Name of the client receiving the quotation.
  • Transaction Date – Date the quotation was created.
  • Due Date – Expected response or payment deadline.
  • Gross Amount – Total quoted amount before deductions.
  • Status – Current state (e.g., Draft, Approved, Rejected).
  • Search by Name: Top-right search bar for quick filtering by customer name.
  • Filters Button: Enables refined views based on date, status, or customer.
  • Pagination Controls: Allows navigation across multiple records with adjustable entries per page.
  • Empty State Message: “No Records Found” indicates no quotations have been created yet.

3. Usage Notes

  • Quotations are auto-tagged with transaction codes for traceability.
  • Use filters to isolate pending, approved, or overdue quotations.
  • Ideal for sales, finance, and customer support teams managing B2B or B2C workflows.
  • Ensure consistent customer naming for accurate search results.
