Axon Order Booking App — Location & Background Tracking

AXON ERP collects the precise location (GPS) of order bookers to enable the Live Tracking feature. ERP admins can monitor this location and activity data in real time through the admin dashboard.

Location is collected only when an order booker enables Live Tracking from their app settings.
It works in both:
- Foreground (while the order booker is actively using the app)
- Background (when the app is minimized or screen is off)
Location is recorded at limited intervals (approx. every 5 minutes) to optimize battery usage.

Purpose of Location Use

Location data is collected solely to give ERP admins visibility into order booker activity. It is used only for:

Field staff activity tracking — admins can view real-time positions of order bookers
Visit logs — a record of locations visited by each order booker during their shift
Route monitoring and reporting — admins can review and audit daily routes taken

We do not sell, share, or use location data for advertising. Access is restricted to authorized ERP admins within your organization.

User Control

Live Tracking is optional and OFF by default for all order bookers
Order bookers can enable or disable it anytime from their app settings
Permission can also be revoked from the device's system settings
ERP admins can view the tracking status per order booker from the admin panel

Background Location Disclosure

AXON ERP may access an order booker's location in the background to ensure continuous activity tracking even when the app is not in active use. This data is made available exclusively to ERP admins for business tracking purposes within your organization and is never shared with third parties.
