POS Terminal

The POS Terminal module enables businesses to manage multiple checkout stations with real-time control, secure cash handling, and transaction tracking.

Terminal Cards / Table Columns
- Terminal Name: Identifier for each POS station
- Status: Operational state (e.g., active, closed)
- Opening Cash: Initial float required to activate

3. Barcode Scanning

Item barcodes are created in the Inventory Management module. Once a barcode is generated and printed, it can be used at the POS Terminal for fast and accurate item scanning during checkout.
To create a barcode, go to Inventory Management → Reports → Item Price Tag, select your item, and print the barcode. After printing, stick the barcode on the item — it is then ready to use at the POS Terminal.
