BOM

Bill of Materials allows you to define the components and quantities required to manufacture a product.


BOM (Bill of Materials) defines the list of raw materials, components, and quantities required to manufacture or assemble a finished product.

Overview

The BOM list displays the following columns: Name, Item Category, Item UOM, Item Code, Created Date, and Actions.

Each BOM entry has a Preview action to view its full details.

Creating a BOM

Click the Create BOM button and fill in the following fields:

  • Select Item — Search and select the item this BOM is for
  • Item Code — Auto-filled based on selected item
  • Item Name — Auto-filled based on selected item
  • UOM — Auto-filled based on selected item
  • Category — Auto-filled based on selected item
  • Is Sale (optional) — Check if this item is for sale
  • Is Purchase (optional) — Check if this item is for purchase

Material Lines

In the Material Lines tab, add raw material components:

  • Items — Select the component item
  • UOM — Select the unit of measure
  • Quantity (required) — Enter the quantity needed

Use the + button to add more lines and the delete button to remove lines.

Expense Lines

Use the Expense Lines tab to add any additional expenses related to this BOM.

By Products

Use the By Products tab to define any by-products generated during manufacturing.

Column Customization

Click the column settings icon to customize visible columns. Available columns: Name, Item Category, Is Sale Item, Is Purchase Item, Created Date, Item Uom, Item Code, Hs Code, Sro Schedule No, Sro Item Serial No, Item Boms.
